Weekend Retreat – August 27-29

The Fern Sangha invites you for a weekend of togetherness, Dharma talks and discussions, meditation, hiking, boating, and camping at a farm field within walking distance of Damariscotta Lake in Nobleboro, in mid-coast Maine.

Arrive Friday afternoon – Depart midday Sunday.

For more information and to receive a registration packet please email: jackinmaine@live.com. Please put "Retreat" in the subject line.

The Fern Sangha is a group of people from Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine who came together at Blue Cliff Monastery in October of 2009. We practice meditation and mindfulness in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh.

How to find us

We are still considering our options regarding a permanent meeting space, but in the meantime, BookMarc's Bookstore has graciously offered to let us meet at their Harlow Street location.

The bookstore closes for business at 5:30, but someone will be at the door after that to direct you to the meeting space. We'll need to lock the door when the meeting begins, so we're asking members and visitors to make every effort to arrive before six o'clock. If you're running late, please call the store at 942-3206 as soon before six o'clock as possible, so we can have someone stand by to let you in.

We'll announce news of our peregrinations during future meetings, but if you miss a week, please continue to watch this space for announcements and directions of when our move to our new location will occur. Thanks for your patience!

The place of our appointment is right here, in this very place."
