Dharma Studypractice Group

Our Dharma Studypractice Group meets periodically at 7:30 pm, following the sangha meeting at BookMarcs Bookstore. Our next meeting is on February 18th.

Its purpose is to engage in an in-depth study of various aspects of the Dharma, with an aim to better understanding it so as to better practice it, and to better practice it so as to better understand it. Throughout the life of the group, we hope to pursue very in-depth approaches to the foundational sutras as part of our Studypractice.

Our first sutra is the MahaSatiPatthana Sutta, or the Foundations of Mindfulness Sutra. The main text we'll be using is Bhikku Analayo's Satipatthana: The Direct Path To Realization.
